My name is Denise Wilburn. I am the founder and operator of Renew Counseling Services. I have been a Licensed Counselor for 25+ years and have treated those suffering from simple to severe mental health issues. I believe EDUCATION is the best therapy tool I can give a client. I help clients explore what they are experiencing, change the parts within their control, and cope with what's left. I use several techniques to help my clients recognize and change unhealthy thoughts and set individualized goals. I am EMDR certified and understand how trauma, old and new, can affect one's daily life. I specialize in the unique challenges and experiences of adult women.
